While slavery only lasted 3 centuries in the west, it has lasted 14 centuries in the Middle East and exists today in many Muslim countries. He explains the book in this short video and it is very interesting. It explains that when Arab slave traders would raid black villages to the south they would kill the adults and kidnap the children. The boy children were indoctrinated into an Islamic army for the Arabs and the girls were taken as household and sex slaves. The reason their were not that many black descendants in the middle east is because the black male children were castrated so they could not reproduce. There were a few black Africans who grew up and because they curried favor with their masters were allowed to also be slave traders. A very interesting history of black African slave trade and the Muslim Arab world. People need to know this history, BUT instead sadly people will never get enough of watching Souljah Boy dance dude, 50 cent, old Tupac Shakur Rap videos, Britany Spears and other videos and never know the truth, especially white and black converts or reverts. This is part of the legacy of slavery that most African American people should know. Many black converts or reverts do not know this history before they converted believing that they were originally Muslim before they were sold into slavery. They were not. The greatest tragedy of this story is that the descendants of the African slaves around the world, in the Americas as well as in Africa itself are TOTALLY IGNORANT about the facts.
The worst, most inhumane and most diabolical institution of the black African slave trade was initiated, refined, perpetuated and propagated by the Mohammedan Arabs and later by the Mohammedan converts to islam.. The two sub-cultures, of denial of facts and political correctness will deny this assertion without a single disprove of these statements

The word 'slave' is derived from the Slavic people of East Europe who were subjugated and enslaved by other Europeans. Abdullah' means 'the slave of Allah' In the language of the Arabs, all black people are called "abeed"== for slaves.

Very little is written about Arab slave trade across Sahara, Indian ocean.

The Koran allows the taking of slaves as tribute or reward, the taking of slaves in wars of aggression against non-believers ie most of the world. The so-called holy wars of jihad are and were mostly wars of plunder. Mohammedan states and tribes have attacked other peoples for this purpose.

Ibn Khaldun(?, 1332 - 1406), the most prominent Muslim medieval historian wrote: "The Negro nations are as a rule submissive to slavery as they have attributes similar to dumb animals." Black slaves were castrated on grounds that the black had ungovernable sexual appetite. When the Fatimid Caliphate came to power in Egypt, they slaughtered all of the tens of thousands of black military slaves and raised an entire new slave army.

[U]Records exist[/U] for 2 million slaves by Arabs in the 1800s. At least 8 million more are calculated to have died before reaching the Arab slave markets. (in the 19th century alone!).
* 10 percent trans-Atlantic mortality rate compared with 70-80 percent in trans-Sahara.
* 2women/3men in European slavery vs. 2women/1man in Arab slavery.
* While European slavery was mostly about labour for agricultural plantations and industry, most of the Mooslim slavery was about sexual exploitation in harems and for military purposes.
* Many children survived European slavery to populate the Americas today. Very few Children of middle east slaves survived because most of the children born into slavery were killed at birth.
* As many as 11 million African slaves were transported across Atlantic of which 95% to were to South American possessions of the Portuguese, Spanish or French and 5% to north America. But an estimate of 28 million went to middle east. Considering that estimate 80% plus died before reaching Arab slave markets, it is possible that altogether more than 112 million could have died in Arab slavery.
* Added to those sold in the trans-Sahara and east Africa slave trade, the numbers of African slaves by Arabs could exceed 140 million. The slavery continues today, aided by two major factors:
1) The culture of Denial by Mohammedan Islam and Arabs about their part in slavery
