ALARAN
Alaran Development Enterprises [Alaran] is a development services organisation that aims to build manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure across Africa. Atunlushe is our engineering construction business, based in Ogun, Nigeria with divisions in Utilities, Construction, Logistics, and Services. Atunlushe is tendering in 2005 to develop on build-own-operate basis in western Nigeria: a multi-activity centre, a heritage resort, and a science park with extensive facilities for location of knowledge based businesses. These developments are complemented with dedicated utilities, logistic services, and residential housing.
Atunlushe seeks suppliers to provide commodities and services under agreement. Suppliers must have full-time management who have gained relevant qualifications and proven work experience in engineering, computing and construction projects. Suppliers are encouraged to undertake continous professional training in engineering, scientific, construction and project management disciplines, and to provide opportunities for placement of young people into apprenticeships. In return, suppliers enjoy preferential trade access as well as capital funding, profit-share, and risk management.
